If a buttery, oaky, roasty, toasty Viognier is what you seek, Virginia's Tarara Vineyards has it. Toasted oak, buttered popcorn and fresh apples dominate both the nose and palate of this dry, full-bodied wine. It's a straightforward wine with fairly high alcohol, but balanced with a vibrant acidity.
