Buttered black cherries and olallieberries mix with snapped dark chocolate and crushed peppercorns on the nose of this blend of 62% Syrah, 14% Grenache, 12% Zinfandel, 4% Touriga Nacional, 4% Tinta Cao, 2% Bastardo and 2% Alicante Bouschet. The palate shows lots of brick and earth, with sagebrush, licorice and pomegranate-hibiscus flavors.
