This organic wine from the scorching 2003 vintage is definitely past its prime with a brownish hue and tired aromas of resin and very ripe fruit. It's just short of cooked, but the aromas do recall jam and black fruit marmalade. The wine is thin and compact in texture with lingering notes of dark chestnut and spice.
