Tinta Barroca, one of the Douro grape varieties, produces a rustic style of wine by itself. This wine comes from a vineyard at 1,800 feet, giving a cool feel and plenty of acidity as well as a barnyard, black fruit character. The aftertaste is juicy and spicy.
