This dark Amarone is savory and spicy, with rosemary, forest floor and bramble notes. Fresh fruit and dark cherry aromas make for a nice balance, but overall it demonstrates an elegant, herbal side. The tannic structure is fine and firm, and there's enough crisp acidity to carry this wine for 10 years or more.
