A persistent ripe cheesy aroma is the only thing that mars this Cabernet-based big brother to Belcore. There's ample black fruit to the palate and a full blast of espresso on the smooth finish. It's young now, but already it's opening up. Maybe the funky aromatics will subside with additional bottle age.
