Fresh-pressed blackberry juice meets with thyme and pencil lead on the nose of this very decent wine for the price. The blend of 44% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and 9% Petit Verdot offers flavors of herb-laced berries and a touch of roasted coffee, proving light, fresh and complex if a tad thin.
