Hearty, full-bodied, definitely rich and deeply colored. The chocolate and oak aromas lead to plenty of ripe blackberry and boysenberry flavors that come out on the palate and linger on the finish. It tastes big and tannic, yet the gushing fruit flavors balance everything out, and the overall impression is smooth and polished.
