This is an earthy Mencía with cheesy aromas, tobacco hints and a pinch of compost that suggests ripeness and maturity. The palate is deep and intense, with a modest but pointed beam of acidity. Fern, juniper, mint leaf, licorice and blackberry flavors finish warm. Drink through 2016.
